This week, it wasn’t only our country voting, but our school too. Our electorates/pupils were filled with anticipation as they eagerly awaited to cast their votes in the polling station on Thursday 4th July. The respective political parties did all they could in their election campaign to gain the votes they needed to win the election. The tense but exhilarating election finally came to a close as it reached its exciting crescendo. On Friday, the polls came in after a monumental vote count. Huge congratulations to Maria, Sameera, Aasim, Ridwan, Jhanavi and Hana for their Labour Party gaining 33.8% of the vote. Our school community is tantalised to see how their policies come into fruition.
