Mother Tongue Day – A Celebration of Culture
On Thursday 27th February, we celebrated Mother Tongue Day. The children and staff wore traditional clothing that celebrated and embraced their cultural heritage. The whole school was transformed into a sea of vibrant colours and beautiful prints. The children shared songs and poems in their mother tongue during a whole school assembly. In class the children took part in a variety of activities linked to Mother Tongue Day. Everybody enjoyed sharing their culture with one another and the entire school collectively unified as one!
