It’s all aboard the reading bus, starting with our reading ambassadors who welcomed governors to see the newest playground attraction. The bus is a lovely new resource enabling pupils to visit a school library at least weekly. Pupils enjoyed chatting to governors about reading at Essex and how much they enjoy their new Take One Books. As well as academic benefits, reading for pleasure provides social and emotional gains including increased wellbeing.
