Coronavirus School Update
The wider opening of Essex Primary School
Essex Primary School is now open to all year groups. We have welcomed back pupils and it has been fantastic to see them settling in so well.
Please note, that once your child has been taken into a bubble on a Monday morning, they must attend school every day, unless they are unwell. If a child has an unauthorised absence on Monday, they can’t attend school until the following Monday. This is to ensure that we keep the bubbles as tight and as safe as possible.
If you would like your child to attend school (Nursery, Reception, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 only), please contact the school and they will advise you on whether we have the capacity to take your child into a specific bubble. Please contact the school by email, email@example.com

Thank you for your continued support throughout this rather challenging time.

Home Learning Guidance
All children will have work set for them to continue their learning at home.
Daily activities have been set for all pupils from Years 1 to 6 on Google Classroom. Pupils have received a username and password.
Pupils must complete their daily activities between the hours of 9am and 3pm so that teachers will be able to provide feedback. Please ensure they have a space to complete their work. I would like to encourage all parents to read daily with their children.
For pupils in Nursery and Reception classes, work is being sent via School Ping on a regular basis and work can also be found on the school’s website: www.essex.newham.sch.uk. Please hover over the Learning tab and you will find the Homework and Home Learning link. Nursery and Reception pupils will not be given feedback on a daily basis but parents are expected to work through the activities daily. If you as a parent, require any support, please email the EYFS staff on: firstname.lastname@example.org with your child’s name and class and the teachers will get back to you during school hours.
In this time of uncertainty, I would like to encourage us all to stay safe and follow the government’s advice on social distancing while at the same time supporting each other in our community.
