On Wednesday, 28th February, 2024, nine boys from year 5 and 6 attended a Handball Competition at Langdon School. Teamwork, encouragement and determination engulfed our team’s ethos and this propelled them to the top of their group. That enabled them to get to the knockout stages, which they embraced with successful vigour. They were a credit to Essex Primary, and to themselves, as they competed admirably and skilfully, getting all the way to the final. They just came up short, losing 4-2 in a tense, entertaining match. They received a silver medal for their fantastic effort. Well done boys!
