As part of their Life Skills lessons, pupils from Hyacinth room went on a walk to the local post box. They were developing their transition (moving) and listening skills. They listened carefully to the instructions of ‘Stop’ and ‘Go’ as they crossed the roads to get to the post box. They practised walking sensibly next to the wall away from the kerb. On arrival at the post office, they practised posting some letters into the post box. They also posted some of their art work to their families at home. It was a very successful experience for all the pupils.
