Article 12 of the UN convention of the rights of children states that pupils should have the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them and to have these taken seriously. Therefore, on Tuesday 31st of January 2023, members of our school council participated in an exciting lunch menu tasting event. An array of new scrumptious dishes were excitedly
consumed, which were prepared by Juniper, our catering supplier. Pupils were given the honour of rating the food prepared and a consensus will be gauged based on their honest opinions. Their thoughts, in conjunction with other schools’ feedback, will be used to create the forthcoming menu in April. Pupils were very brave to try new things and respectfully truthful when giving their feedback and ratings. A deliciously tasty day for all that participated!
