The Year 5 sensational music project, “We are Heroes” celebrated Black History. Class presentations featured the contribution to rebuilding modern Britain by the Windrush generation; the fight for justice and equality by Stephen Laurence’s mother, Doreen; poetry by Amanda Gorman and the story of sporting hero, Ade Adepitan, one of Britain’s most celebrated Paralympians. We are very proud of our pupils for composing their own song, ‘Superheroes Don’t Always Wear Capes”
