Year 2 pupils have been delving into the historical event known as ‘The Great Fire of London’ for their History unit of study. First it was the turn of Anaconda and Gecko class to participate in an interactive ‘Fire! Fire!’ workshop. During the workshop, pupils showcased the knowledge they’ve gained since returning to school in their lessons. While at the Tower of London, pupils were given the opportunity to explore the site, examine the Crown Jewels, and stroll through the White Tower, along with other historical buildings housing precious artefacts. Pupils relished their visit and enthusiastically participated in the sessions. It was indeed a fantastic day!
